Hugh
Chipperfield has been woodturning for thirty
five years.
He follows a family history of woodturning that goes
back three generations.The company was formed in 1987
with a view to offering a personal service, producing
bespoke items and components commercially, and working
entirely by hand. The company quickly grew by word of
mouth recommendations and following its initial success,
the Company moved to new bigger premises in 1996. We
continue to pride ourselves on a personal service for a
wide range of trades including –

- Architects
- Construction companies
- Antique restorers
- Producing components for architectural restoration
- Props for film and TV
- Models for advertising
- Prototypes for designers
Jane Chipperfield joined the company in 1999,
as a Partner. She provides aesthetic judgement on
designs as well as invaluable back-up and secretarial
skills, customer services, deliveries, accounts and
bookkeeping.
